GMAC Announces Online Executive Assessment (EA) Exam

We're all adjusting to new lives of social distancing and remote work/learning. In accordance with this, GMAC.org has closed a lot of GMAT testing centers in the United States and no one knows when they'll reopen. For individuals applying to MBA and EMBA program and studying for or thinking about taking the Executive Assessment exam, you were living in uncertain times. However, GMAC has now followed in ETS's footsteps (they recently introduced an "at home GRE" exam) by offering an interim online EA exam in additional to the at-home GMAT exam they already announced, starting at the end of April for markets impacted by COVID-19.

We are all experiencing many changes to daily life due to COVID-19. GMAC.org has prudently closed many GMAT testing centers across the country with an unclear timeline for reopening them. For those of you applying to business school and studying for the GMAT, and in particular if you had a scheduled GMAT test date, you were in limbo. But today, in response to this "new normal", GMAC has followed ETS's (they recently introduced an "at home GRE" exam) lead by temporarily offering an interim online GMAT exam, beginning mid-April in impacted markets excluding mainland China.

Every Quantitative Problem Solving question has a litany of potential paths to a solution, and the successful GMAT student’s goal is to reach that solution in the fewest number of steps possible. The key is to take note of all the information provided in the proper order, consider what information may be hidden in the answer choices, and to then calculate for the desired information. Now that the calendar has turned to 2018, millions of folks have set (and are hopefully still following!) their New Year’s resolutions. For most, these involve some measure of personal improvement – eat healthier, exercise more, boost savings, or maybe improve career prospects. Many looking to further their career will potentially consider building upon their scholastic resume with an MBA. Of course, one of the early steps on the road to an MBA is taking the GMAT and getting a score that will be enticing for your target schools, but with so much to do it can be challenging to decide how to start.
