Before High School Test Prep and Tutoring

Tutoring preteens and early teens requires not only complete subject mastery, but also an ability to command attention through dynamic instruction and personality. Our gurus at this level have at least five years of experience teaching middle or junior high school students online and in person, so they can make sure that whatever the subject is your student remains engaged in learning for the duration of every session.

We will always endeavor to match students with available in-person gurus when requested provided one is available locally, but we also encourage students even at this age to consider virtual instruction. Our dynamic online tutoring approach combines live videoconferencing with an interactive whiteboard and provides valuable learning resources that are not available in person, such as the instructor's whiteboard notes and optional session recordings, to help students retain information after every live lesson.
