Private NCLEX Tutoring

There just aren't that many sources for qualified, experienced NCLEX tutors.  Our tutors are practicing nurses with RN, MSN, APN, and even PhDs, but they are also passionate educators who love to help future nurses pass the NCLEX on their first, or next, try.

We provide customized, private tutoring for the NCLEX as well as for courses typically contained in an ASN or BSN nursing program (fundamentals of nursing, med/surg/pediatrics/maternal-child/mental health, etc.)

Experienced NCLEX Tutors

We work with a select group of experienced tutors, all of whom are active tutors with a current roster of nursing students who are in the process of preparing for the NCLEX.

Here are two example NCLEX tutors:

Ann has a M.S. in Nursing and is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner pursuing a Post-Masters Specialty (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner). She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and holds a M.A. in Counseling. She previously worked for Kaplan Nursing, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Palm Beach State College as an Adjunct Nursing Professor.  She also earned a B.A. in Psychology from Albright College. Ann has worked with dozens of NCLEX students in a 1-1 setting to help them pass the NCLEX after they have previously failed.
Susan has an ASN, a BSN, and an MSN. She began teaching at the Community College level in the Fall of 2001, and taught full-time until 2013. Uncountable private nursing tutoring took place during these 12 years. She has been actively tutoring independently since 2013. She has created an unique review approach to help nursing students figure out how to pass the NCLEX, including a series of handouts for those content areas that her students seem to struggle with.

How Our Tutors Help You Pass the NCLEX

Each MyGuru nursing tutor has a unique approach to helping students with the NCLEX or a nursing class. However, all tutors provide two things a) a customized plan tailored to your strengths and weaknesses and b) a focus on building the key critical thinking skills required to earn a passing score.

We have extensive experience in creating and teaching who to approach NCLEX-style exam questions. Our tutors know the NCLEX very well and many have written exam questions in the same format for many years. We help you understand how to analyze the multiple-choice questions and focus on where you need the most help to build an effective, efficient study plan.  We have collectively provided NCLEX prep to literally hundreds of nursing program graduates.

We primarily provide online, email, and phone-based NCLEX tutoring, but in-person tutoring is sometimes available.

How Much Does NCLEX Tutoring Cost?

We charge $80, with 5, 10, or 15% discounts for investing in 5, 10, or 15 hours in advance – that’s $68.00 for a long term tutoring relationship of 15+ hours. Unused hours are refunded and most students start with just one hour to see if it's a good fit. We look forward to helping you pass the NCLEX.
