Private LSAT Test Prep Tutoring
We believe both in-person and virtual LSAT tutors deliver a superior method of instruction relative to self-paced or group LSAT courses, but that the large test prep firms have made private LSAT tutoring unnecessarily expensive.
How an online LSAT Tutor Can Improve Your LSAT Score
An LSAT instructor can help you build a customized study plan based on your unique situation, availability, test date, and target score. It is the most efficient way to rapidly improve your LSAT score.
Our approach to LSAT tutoring leverages official LSAT texts such as The Official LSAT Super Prep and official practice tests to ensure the material you are reviewing is 100% reflective of what you'll face on test day. We follow an LSAT tutoring process that is tailored to every student, beginning with a diagnostic session to help create a manageable study plan that includes a customized curriculum that builds upon each student's strengths and weaknesses.
We believe we have the best LSAT tutors not only because of their ability to help you build critical test-taking skills. Our LSAT coaches help you build confidence and the right attitude to maximize your LSAT score.
After filling out the form below, a Managing Tutor will reach out to learn as much as possible about your situation so we can connect you to our best available LSAT tutor. You will also be offered a free ~20 minute phone call or virtual tutoring session with a specific tutor to share more details and ask questions before deciding to hire an LSAT tutor.

LSAT Tutoring Rates
Our base rate for online LSAT tutoring of $109 an hour is a slight discount from our in-person LSAT tutoring rate of $119, and we still offer 5, 10, or 15 hour packages that come with discounts of 5, 10, or 15%. That's a long term rate of $109 × 85% = $92.65 per hour, so a 15 hour package has a total cost of $92.65 × 15 hours = $1,389.75. Most successful students invest in 10-15 hours of LSAT instruction to see substantial improvements in their LSAT score, but we can work around your budget and availability to design an LSAT study plan that works for you.
Do you prefer in-person or online LSAT coaching?
We offer in-person tutoring in several cities (including Chicago, New York, and Boston) as well as online.
We know some students prefer seeing a live tutor face-to-face. To both reduce the cost of private LSAT tutoring and increase convenience, we don’t have any physical locations. You'd meet your instructor at a mutually convenient time and public place like a local library or coffee shop. Or, if you are comfortable with it, in your home. These details are worked out directly with your tutor.
Benefits of Online LSAT Prep
We do tend to recommend online LSAT tutoring to most students. It is more convenient and can be more effective. We also offer premium online tutoring in which we record each session in full and students can make notes and leave questions on the whiteboard 24/7 for the instructor. The student then receives an “offline” response via a follow up note on the whiteboard within 24 hours.
- Students only need a free Gmail or Skype account to begin
- All LSAT tactics and test-taking strategies are demonstrated on a shared virtual whiteboard
- Students follow along with the instructor as a guest using nothing more than a computer and an internet connection, but can also sign up for their own personal whiteboard
- With a personal whiteboard, students can access all past sessions to review difficult concepts
- The LSAT tutoring whiteboard using during the coaching session is recorded as a digital PDF document, so students can review lessons to reinforce concepts.
- Removing the travel requirement to a physical location saves time and opens scheduling options.
- Online LSAT tutoring sessions can even be recorded so you can review full lessons after the fact
