Fast Facts for the GRE

The GRE exam is now accepted by most MBA programs. There is no combined score; instead you're given individual verbal and quantitative scores on a scale of 130-170. There are five 30:00 (verbal) or 35:00 (quantitative) sections with a 60:00 essay. Four sections will be scored, and one will not be - you will never know which one is going to be disregarded. An incredibly helpful tool is the ETS GRE to GMAT conversion calculator, available online here

Fast Facts for the GMAT

The GMAT is still the preferred entrance exam for most global MBA programs. You will receive a combined score on a scale of 200-800, incorporating quantitative and verbal. There are two sections, approximately 60:00 minutes long each. There is an essay as well as an Integrated Reasoning section; however, they are scored separately and do not go towards your official score. They are less prioritized for most admissions committees, although Integrated Reasoning has been gaining traction over the last few years.
