Online GMAT Tutoring
Welcome Admit Master Referrals!
We know you've considered in-person GMAT courses from Admit Master. Or perhaps you took one and are still looking for a little extra customized support. When it comes to in-person courses, even if you know the course is excellent, for some students scheduling simply does not work out. For others, a highly personalized GMAT prep experience is the more efficient path to an improved GMAT score.
If you've already taken an Admit Master course and need some additional personalized help, or if you've pursued other GMAT prep options (other in-person courses, online courses, apps, etc.) online tutoring from MyGuru may be your path to truly optimizing your GMAT score.
Admit Master has partnered with MyGuru to offer special access to our unique online GMAT tutoring experience.

Our Approach to GMAT Test Prep
Our GMAT tutoring approach generally begins with a free 20-30 minute introductory discussion with your GMAT tutor. The tutoring experience then begins in earnest with you taking a GMAT practice test, followed by a diagnostic tutoring session which includes a discussion of your performance on the diagnostic, strengths and weaknesses, target MBA programs, required GMAT score, test date, and previous experience studying for and taking the GMAT. This initial diagnostic tutoring session costs $115.
Coming out of this initial session we create a customized GMAT study plan designed to help build upon each student's strengths and address key weaknesses, incorporating official practice GMAT exams to track progress. Because we believe that working with official test prep materials from GMAC.org is important when engaging in GMAT test prep, we leverage the official GMAT prep software as well as the The Official Guide for GMAT Review 2020 Bundle (Official Guide + Verbal Guide + Quantitative Guide).
Pricing
After the initial 1 hour "diagnostic" tutoring session for $115, we are offering Admit Master referrals simple, special pricing for online GMAT tutoring.
- 10 hours for $1,000
- 20 hours for $1,900
You can also pay by the hour at $115 per hour if you choose.
This pricing is a discount from MyGuru's regular rates. In addition, we encourage you to consider that MyGuru's prices are often below half of what is charged by key competitors like Princeton Review, Veritas or Manhattan GMAT. Veritas, for example, charges $265 / hour under a 10 hour package (the smallest number of hours you can purchase).
Example Online GMAT Coaching Session
Online GMAT prep from MyGuru leverages The Official Guide for GMAT Review 2020 Bundle (Official Guide + Verbal Guide + Quantitative Guide). We recommend the eBook to build good habits, given the GMAT is delivered via computer. After each session our students get two texts to review — The Official Guide and a digital copy of that day's whiteboard filled with notes and tips specifically tailored for them to refer to forever.
Online tutoring requires nothing beyond a laptop, internet, and scratch paper (just like the GMAT!), so computer-based tutoring builds good habits for test day such as writing down process of elimination outlines and taking good notes for reading comprehension rather than simply annotating the text on a physical GMAT Official Guide book.
-
Students only need a free Gmail or Skype account to begin instructive videoconferencing where both tutor and student can react to verbal and non-verbal cues making each lesson feel like it's being conducted in person.
-
All GMAT strategies, tactics and techniques are demonstrated on a shared virtual whiteboard where students follow along with the instructor as a guest using nothing more than a laptop and an internet connection
- All GMAT sessions are recorded as digital documents, so students can review lessons to reinforce concepts
For these reasons and more, MyGuru online GMAT tutoring isn't just comparable to face-to-face tutoring, it's often better. To read more about our perspective on online tutoring click here.
