Kirt Gallatin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with degrees in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. While at FGCU, Kirt had the honor of serving as its Student Body President and was a member of several academic honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key International Honour Society, and the FGCU Honors Program. Kirt also holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Illinois.

After law school, Kirt practiced law at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago and worked for political campaigns in both the United States and abroad, including Governor Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential bid and President Juan Carlos Varela's successful campaign to become the President of the Republic of Panama in 2014. For his work in Panama, Kirt and the rest of the Varela Electoral Team were awarded the 2015 Reed Award for Best International Campaign. 

Kirt currently manages MyGuru's tutors in New York.  

In his limited free time, Kirt enjoys taking his dog, Apache, for car rides in his 1968 International Scout 800.
