DAT (Dental Admissions Test) Tutoring
DAT tutoring from MyGuru is a customized experience featuring 1-1 instruction from a recognized expert (delivered in your home or a local library). Students are asked to purchase the DAT prep book with two online practice tests and complete a practice exam prior to their first session to identify strengths and weaknesses.
The initial session is intended to be diagnostic in nature. The tutor seeks to identify key strengths and weaknesses, document the student’s goals and previous experiences with test prep, and design a customized study plan. This is followed by tailored private tutoring sessions in which key concepts, required factual knowledge, and test taking strategies for the biology, organic chemistry, general chemistry, perceptual ability, reading comprehension, and quantitative reasoning section are explained.
Finally, the student completes a practice test, which is then reviewed with the tutor during the final session.
