# Blended Learning

#### MyGuru’s focus is on providing highly customized, one-on-one tutoring and test prep, but we realize that "blended learning" can be extremely effective.

**Blended learning** combines physical test prep books, private tutoring, and online test prep.

If you’re studying for a standardized test, whether it’s the ACT, GMAT, or MCAT, you obviously want to get a great score – that’s why you’re considering a private tutor.  But, you might also be researching additional test prep materials or online courses that can give you an edge, via extra practice and additional tips, on the test.

We do want to make a distinction between online test prep and [online tutoring](https://www.myguruedge.com/solutions/online-and-mobile/) via Skype, WebEx, or other plaforms, which is something we provide directly.  Online test prep, in our definition, is self-paced, uses videos to explain solutions, and often adapts to your performance to give you harder practice problems as you improve.

#### **So, we work with the following providers of unique, self-paced, online test prep solutions. **

You can do your own research, or ask us, to determine which collection of materials, services and solutions are right for you.  Use the below links to navigate:

- ACT
- SAT
- GRE
- GMAT
- MCAT
- LSAT

MyGuru also offers a Membership Program, which provides discounted private tutoring, discounted admission consulting, and free and/or discounted access to most of the services and companies listed below.  Click below to learn more.
