Will Vickery, Senior ACT, SAT, GRE, & Math Tutor
Will graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Stony Brook University. During his time as an undergraduate student, Will worked with an after-school program tutoring math at the high school level, wherein he worked with marginalized students. As part of this job, Will prepared an education research report on best practices for teaching marginalized students, and implemented a program to teach fractions to his students based on research linking success with fractions to future success in mathematics at the calculus level. Through his experience working with marginalized students, Will was able to witness his students success as their math skills strengthened. Will is uniquely prepared to work with students who may struggle with focused attention and self-confidence, and is eager to make learning math a fun and pleasant experience.
